This course aims to enhance participants’ awareness and comprehension of how next-generation family business members can approach opportunities and challenges related to the family. The broader aim of the course is to support the development of family businesses and facilitate the process of succession and ownership transition by sharing knowledge and tools for how this can be done effectively. The course is structured into six days. Each day combines theory and practice, offering a balanced combination of academic knowledge and a solid connection to practice. The participants will get an assignment to complete between module 1 and 2.
The course is based on more than 20 years of research and practical experience in family business developed by the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) at Jönköping International Business School.

Credits: 7,5 on bachelor level
Participation fee: NOK 15.000 to cover accommodation & food during the course days.
